Lissy lived on a farm in Southcentral Wisconsin. Ideally this would suit her fine as living a bucolic life is what she always wanted.She did have that with her parents living where they do until the mega factory farm moved in across the road .

Worse than the chemical infused manure stank, are the sterile, factory conditions in which the cows live.  Normal manure smell is natural as they cows get to graze on prime land grasses but these cows are given chemicals to keep them healthy and the smell emitted from their manure processing plant is raunchy at best and the smell permeates the country air for miles.

Bucolic no longer describes her rural life.
